We would like you to consider using us.
To ensure your images will not deteriorate with time we will only use ‘ARCHIVAL’ or acid-free medium and non-fading pigment-based inks. Pictures that use this method will keep their color and beauty for generations.
How large a file should I have?
For smaller images, you should strive to have 90K per square inch or 300 dpi. For larger images that are viewed from further distances, 60K pixels per square inch or 200 dpi will work fine.
Below is a general requirement of minimum pixel requirement for a size picture.
- For an 8”x10” picture your image should be 5 Megapixels
- For an 11”x14” picture your image should be at least 13 Megapixels
- For a 16”x20” picture your image should be at least 16 Megapixels
- For a 20”x30” picture your image should be at least 22 Megapixels
- For a 24”x36” picture your image should be at least 40 Megapixels
What image will not be printed? Any rejected order will be speedily refunded.
- We will not print any images that are under copyright. Many commercial photographers retain copyright ownership of their portraits. Copyrights extend for 70 years after the death of the artist.
- We will not print any image with sexual content or nudity, whether scientific, artistic, or pornographic. Images that sexualize children or adults will be rejected.
- We do not print any image that has obscene or derogatory messages.
